Freddy's Frozen Custard & Steakburgers Review

Bare with me... not the most aesthetically pleasing photo of a cheeseburger. But as the saying always goes, “Never judge a book by its cover.” Or by its buns... or the hand holding it that’s looks greasy... or by every thing about it looking unappetizing. Do not listen to the people taking pictures of Freddy's burgers and saying it didn’t live up to the hype.


Folks, there wouldn’t be a line as long as the SAC’s COVID testing site’s line if it wasn’t good. Lines are long at fast food joints for a reason. There’s a reason why whataburger never has a line. Anyways... smash burger style patties are the way to my heart. Soft potato buns, sandwich cut dill pickles, grilled onions, lettuce, tomatoes, and Freddy’s sauce (similar to Big Mac sauce minus the bits of pickle). Always order double patties at smash burger style patty joints. Nice double crunch texture in every bite and then the acidity from the pickle... a recipe that could be called appetite for destruction.


I also ordered a Freddy’s Classic Double that came with raw onion and it was just as satisfying. I don’t rate food chains because it’s not fair to the local food market but since I hardly, and by hardly I mean never rate food chains, this one was special. Best franchised burger spot in the Sun City. 😊
